Arkansas school districts are Constitutionally required to post their current millage rate on the annual school election ballot each year, and voters can vote “For Tax” or “Against Tax”.  If the District is not trying to change the millage, the vote is immaterial.  If it passes it stays the same, and if it fails it remains the same as it was.  If a district’s millage does not change, an increase or decrease in your property assessment value is the only thing that would affect the property taxes you owe. #brickbybrick

Good Friday/ PD Day Osceola School District will be closed Friday, April 7, 2023 for Good Friday. Students will also be out on Monday, April 10, 2023 for staff development. Students will return at normal time on Tuesday, April 11, 2023. #brickbybrick

The CLE Students led the Ribbon Cutting Ceremony to celebrate becoming Osceola Star Academy. The grant will allow students to graduate from a high school that offers a non-traditional classroom setting while teaching Math, Science, and Social Studies in a career-oriented manner. OSD / Threat of severe weather Tomorrow afternoon Friday, March 31, 2023, there is a threat of severe weather moving into the area close to dismissal time. Our top priority is to keep students and staff safe. If you choose to check your child(ren) out early, the early check out for Friday, March 31, 2023 will be excused. District administration will be monitoring the weather throughout the day. Please be prepared for a possible early release should it be deemed necessary based on expected weather conditions. #brickbybrick

Happy Pi Day! Pi Day is an annual celebration of the mathematical constant π. Pi Day is observed on March 14 since 3, 1, and 4 are the first three significant figures of π. It was founded in 1988 by Larry Shaw, an employee of the San Francisco, California science museum, the Exploratorium. It also happens to be Albert Einstein's birthday. #brickbybrick
