STAR Academy/ Christmas Float
The students at STAR Academy participated in the 2023 Osceola Christmas parade by creating, "We are the World" float. We would like to recognize our student's effort and desire to collaborate and support our community by participating in community events.

STAR Academy/ Incentive Field Trip
STAR Academy students went on a field trip to watch the play "Wizard of Oz" at the Playhouse on the Square Theatre in Memphis, Tennessee. Students accumulate daily points through our PBIS (Positive Behavior Intervention Support) system for good behavior, class participation, and service projects.
We would like to congratulate our students on a job well done and encourage them to keep striving for academic success.

Fall Back
Just a friendly reminder, It's that time of year again! The first Sunday in November is when Daylight Savings Time ends. We "fall back" one (1) hour and return to Standard Time on Sunday, November 5, 2023 at 2:00 am. Be sure to set your clocks back one (1) hour before bed on Saturday night!

They also got a chance to attend the Rise above educational outreach program which included presentations of the experiences and successes of the Tuskegee Airmen and the Wasp.
