Hello CSE Families!
On November 11, 2022, Veterans’ Day, Senator David Wallace presented CSE with a new USA and Arkansas State flag. Osceola High School JROTC Cadets did the honor of replacing the old flags with the new flags. Some of CSE’s students participated in observing the JROTC Cadets lowering and raising the flags.
CSE sincerely thanks Senator Wallace, Councilman Tyler Dunegan, and OHS JROTC Cadets and staff for the presentation of flags.

The Choices Learning Center students participates in social and emotional learning (SEL) activities weekly. The purpose of SEL is to help our students understand their emotions and be able to manage and regulate their own emotions and behaviors.
The goal of this SEL integration is to promote social and emotional development skills through classroom activities.
The benefit of SEL is: decreases emotional stress, reduce behavior problems, improve grades and builds self confidence.
Every week our students are given an opportunity to learn essential life skills and practice these skills in various situations.
Students at the Choices Learning Center Alternative School performed live hands-on science experiences during their lab rotations this week. Our science classes utilizes the Star Academy Program “STEM-focused” curriculum daily to provide our students an opportunity to apply what they learn by making connections through real world experiences.
