Thursday, Oct. 31: Scare Away Drugs – Wear Halloween Costumes
(Masks can be worn at Trunk or Treat ONLY)
Friday, Nov. 1: Put Drugs to Sleep – Wear your favorite pair of pajamas
(Pajamas must be appropriate for school)

OMS/ Annual Literacy Night Event
The Osceola Middle School is hosting their annual Chili Cook-off on October 29th, during our Literacy Night Event from 5:30 pm till 6:45 pm.
We would like to invite all parents or stakeholders to attend our annual chili cook-off. Anyone can enter the competition as long as they complete the registration form and submit by Friday, October 25th. The forms can be picked up at the OMS front office.
This year categories are Homestyle/Traditional, Anything Goes, and Firefighter's Special Heat. There will also be a grand prize of "People's Choice" that will be voted on by all attendees.

Osceola Jr Girls Basketball Team/ Fundraiser
The Jr. Lady Noles Basketball team will be doing a fundraiser for the upcoming basketball season. For the biggest rival game of the season this Friday against Rivercrest, all vehicles who tailgate on the OPAR field will be charged a 5.00 fee. This fee is a fundraiser for the Jr. Lady Noles Basketball team to help with upcoming expenses outside of their allocated expenses. GO NOLES

Osceola Educators at the Arkansas Transition Summit
Last week, a dedicated group of our educators attended the Arkansas Transition Summit in Hot Springs! This valuable opportunity allowed our team to begin developing a comprehensive plan aimed at improving transition services for students as they move from high school to adulthood. We are excited to implement new strategies and resources that will support our students in reaching their full potential beyond the classroom!

Research shows that small group instruction allows students more opportunities to engage in discussions, collaborate, and ask questions. Osceola Middle School STAR Program/ Science Modules
The OMS eighth grade students enrolled in the STAR Academy program are engaged in hands on Labs throughout their science modules. The Star program utilizes a STEM curriculum called "Engage Science" which includes students learning the content through project based Labs.

Osceola School District at National Night Out!
We had an amazing time participating in and supporting the National Night Out event on October 15th, 2024! It was a great evening filled with community spirit, as we joined forces with local families, students, and law enforcement to promote safety and unity.
